Patricia Wells new cookbook "Salad as a Meal" is a walk into the spring summer months. The Provence on a Plate recipe is easy and so delicious.. plus looks great. I'm just about to sit down and enjoy it.This week I plan to try the marinated shrimp salad for a girls night in..looks yummy, I'll keep you posted.Elm Street hosted a wonderful event tonight at the New Canaan Library, Amy Chua, author of "The Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother" and Jed Rubenfeld, author of "The Death Instinct" were kind enough to spend the afternoon discussing each of their books. How lucky we are as a small independent bookstore to be able to provide such terrific events to our community.
Another amazing author will be at the New Canaan Libray tomorrow night. Conor Grennan, author of "Little Princes" a fantastic read that will move your heart. I can't wait to meet him and listen.
